Fort Ticonderoga seeks proposals for papers broadly addressing the period of the War for American Independence with a focus on “The Power of Place” for its Twentieth Annual Seminar on the American Revolution to be held September 20-22, 2024. Submissions are due October 31, 2023. See the Call for Papers link below.
This annual premier conference focused on the military, political, social, and material culture of the American Revolution regularly features scholars from across North America and beyond.
The Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park, located at the southern end of historic Lake George, is an ideal location for your next event. The Cool Insuring Arena, a 4794 seat multi-purpose facility, is the home of the Adirondack Thunder, a professional hockey team that plays in the ECHL.
