Piano virtuoso Christopher Johnson performs a selection of some of the most enduring works by this “Poet of the Piano,” exploring the master’s full range of expression, from the brilliant and heroic to the poetic. We also pay tribute to Sembrich with a delightful paraphrase by Franz Liszt of the soprano’s signature song, Chopin’s “The Maiden’s Wish.”
The Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park, located at the southern end of historic Lake George, is an ideal location for your next event. With panoramic views of “The Queen of American Lakes,” event-goers can also take advantage of all that Lake George has to offer in terms of activities and sight-seeing, all within a very short walk from the grounds. The beauty and proximity of The Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George offers something unique for each season and every occasion.
This facility is available to rent for your event and includes the following amenities: Three picnic pavilions, handicapped accessible public restrooms.horse coral, RV electric and water (no septic) and outdoor lighting.
The Cool Insuring Arena, a 4794 seat multi-purpose facility, is the home of the Adirondack Thunder, a professional hockey team that plays in the ECHL.
