After a siege from French forces beginning August 3rd, General Munro and the British were forced to surrender Fort William Henry on August 9th. Join us at 1pm for a commemoration on the lakeside lawn of the Fort William Henry hotel. This will include a reading of the terms of surrender and wreath-laying at the military cemetery.

The Cool Insuring Arena, a 4794 seat multi-purpose facility, is the home of the Adirondack Thunder, a professional hockey team that plays in the ECHL.
