This years Lake Protector Summit on Friday, June 14, 2024, 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Camp Chingachgook is designed for residents, visitors, and businesses who love, rely on, and want to protect Lake George.
During the free event youll learn about significant threats to Lake George, what the LGA and other local organizations are doing to safeguard the Lake, and actions you can take to keep the Lake clear and clean.

The Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park, located at the southern end of historic Lake George, is an ideal location for your next event. With panoramic views of “The Queen of American Lakes,” event-goers can also take advantage of all that Lake George has to offer in terms of activities and sight-seeing, all within a very short walk from the grounds. The beauty and proximity of The Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George offers something unique for each season and every occasion.
This facility is available to rent for your event and includes the following amenities: Three picnic pavilions, handicapped accessible public restrooms.horse coral, RV electric and water (no septic) and outdoor lighting.
The Cool Insuring Arena, a 4794 seat multi-purpose facility, is the home of the Adirondack Thunder, a professional hockey team that plays in the ECHL.
