Take your love for books to new heights! Learn how to recycle used books into beautiful, folded sculptures. In this workshop, you will learn how to fold a book roll, and make the Origami Kusudama Flowers that will adorn it. Your creation will be topped with a vintage postcard of your choice. These lovely pieces make great gifts for any occasion and will sit flat on a table or a shelf. Books and paper for the flowers will be supplied. Vintage Post Cards $2.00 each.
Her eagerness to share her love for learning and creativity “know how” with others led to a 20-year career as an elementary school teacher. Outside of the classroom, Nancy teaches many art and craft classes for youths and adults in various settings throughout the Capital District.

The Cool Insuring Arena, a 4794 seat multi-purpose facility, is the home of the Adirondack Thunder, a professional hockey team that plays in the ECHL.
