This workshop will help participants develop coping strategies for their new life situation whether it be: marriage, divorce, illness, moving, retirement, an empty nest, widowhood, injury--or something else that has reconfigured their lives.
Through a series of lively, interactive discussions and activities, we will use exercises and writing as a way to connect with each other, become more in touch with our own needs and share strategies to further build resilience as we live through dramatic changes in our lives.
The Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park, located at the southern end of historic Lake George, is an ideal location for your next event. With panoramic views of “The Queen of American Lakes,” event-goers can also take advantage of all that Lake George has to offer in terms of activities and sight-seeing, all within a very short walk from the grounds. The beauty and proximity of The Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George offers something unique for each season and every occasion.
This facility is available to rent for your event and includes the following amenities: Three picnic pavilions, handicapped accessible public restrooms.horse coral, RV electric and water (no septic) and outdoor lighting.
The Cool Insuring Arena, a 4794 seat multi-purpose facility, is the home of the Adirondack Thunder, a professional hockey team that plays in the ECHL.
