November 4th - 11th - Our annual salute to veterans by placing over 9,000 American flags on the front lawn of the Fort William Henry Hotel. Each flag represents a veteran. Veterans’ Day Commemoration with Wreath laying amongst a field of flags, each of which represents a veteran, local or otherwise, nominated for the honor by visitors to the Fort William Henry Museum and/or website. The Cool Insuring Arena, a 4794 seat multi-purpose facility, is the home of the Adirondack Thunder, a professional hockey team that plays in the ECHL.
