9:30 am - 5:00 pm - August 30th - 31st - Witness the dramatic first muster of the Northern Continental Army as regiments of New Yorkers, Connecticut Yankees, and the Green Mountain Boys assembled for the invasion of Canada. This event will highlight Ticonderoga’s place on Lake Champlain as a supply and naval base through participants rowing to and from Ticonderoga as a fleet of bateaux and vignettes throughout the weekend.
The Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park, located at the southern end of historic Lake George, is an ideal location for your next event. With panoramic views of “The Queen of American Lakes,” event-goers can also take advantage of all that Lake George has to offer in terms of activities and sight-seeing, all within a very short walk from the grounds. The beauty and proximity of The Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George offers something unique for each season and every occasion.
This facility is available to rent for your event and includes the following amenities: Three picnic pavilions, handicapped accessible public restrooms.horse coral, RV electric and water (no septic) and outdoor lighting.
The Cool Insuring Arena, a 4794 seat multi-purpose facility, is the home of the Adirondack Thunder, a professional hockey team that plays in the ECHL.
