5:00 pm - March 7th - Join us for a combined community acupuncture and hypnosis session in the Salt Cave with Acupuncturist Brooke Wood of The Acupuncture Studio and Meditative Hypnotist David Vrendenburg of Healing Circle Therapeutics LLC. This session will Spring Cleanse your Mind and Body with a therapeutic blend of the benefits of Acupuncture, Meditation, and Halotherapy. Acupuncture treatments will focus on the health of the Liver, Kidneys, and Digestive System and is suitable for anyone. While you are relaxing in the zero gravity lounge chairs, Brooke will make her way through the cave applying the acupuncture needles while David leads you through progressive relaxation and deepening, guided imagery. This class will be held at Adirondack Salt Cave, 11 Broad Street Glens Falls NY. Dress warm and comfortably! You will be lying in zero gravity chairs in the salt cave for an hour. A blanket and bottled water will be provided for you! About Brooke Wood, Licensed Acupuncturist, MAOM - A native of South Glens Falls, NY, Brooke graduated from Siena College in 2009 with a B.S. in Biology. In 2011 Brooke began studying acupuncture and herbal medicine at the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Her studies include: Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and a one-month internship at the Hangzhou Hospital of TCM, in China. She graduated with honors in 2014 with a M.S. in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is the recipient of the Golden Needle Award for excellence in the field of acupuncture. Brooke is licensed to practice in the state of New York and uses a variety of treatment approaches to enhance the bodys innate healing abilities. Brookes other interests include spending time outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family. About David Vrendenburg, LMT, RM, CTT, CH, CVT - David is a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist who graduated from the Center of Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in 2004. He also received his Reiki Master during that time. David received his certification as a Vibrational Therapist in 2022 and created his Sound Journeys in which he incorporates Hypnotic affirmations, as he has been a certified Hypnotist since 2010. His passion is to facilitate healing through all his modalities while creating a safe, secure, calm place for you to explore your own healing journey
