Next Gen Trivia Night - LGLC

4933 Lake Shore Dr : 4933 Lake Shore Dr, Bolton Landing, NY  12814

NA

Registration for the Lake George Land Conservancy’s 13th annual Hike-A-Thon opened Monday, March 3. The event, which will be held on Saturday, July 5th, is designed to showcase the Conservancy’s parks and preserves with a series of more than 25 guided hikes around Lake George.

Registration is free. Donations are welcome. Participants may choose from a wide selection of hikes ranging from easy, child-friendly walks to challenging climbs.  Also included in this year’s Hike-A-Thon are three on-water options — stand-up paddleboard in Huddle Bay, a Northwest Bay kayak group and a Wooden Boat Cruise-A-Thon in the Southern Basin. A drive up Veterans Memorial Parkway to the top of Prospect Mountain is included as a fully accessible choice.

Additionally, a virtual option is available. With the virtual option, participants may select their own path and post photos to the Lake George Land Conservancy’s social media pages.

All who sign up by April 1 will receive a free Hike-A-Thon 2025 t-shirt. The Conservancy urges participants to register early as many sites fill up quickly.

Photographer Carl Heilman, II will be taking aerial photographs of all groups from a helicopter piloted by Bruce Mowery. Photos will be available for purchase. New this year, you may donate to the LGLC and ask friends and family to donate on your behalf. The top fundraiser will get a seat in the helicopter for a bird’s-eye view of Lake George and the hiking sites.
