Rededication Ceremony - Lake George Battlefield Park Alliance

• The project to restore Lake George Battlefield Park's iconic statues--Battle of Lake George (1903), Mohawk Warrior (1921), and Isaac Jogues (1939)--is heading toward its completion. Workshop Art Fabrication, the sculpting restoration experts managing the project--estimate a mid-June end date for their work, As a result, Friday, June 27 at 1 PM has been set for a rededication ceremony. We are so grateful to all who have donated to make this project a reality, and we can't wait for everyone to see these great works of art and history restored to their original brilliance!
• We were honored yesterday to host our annual Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at the burial site of the unknown soldiers. A very moving keynote address by Command Sgt. Maj.(ret.) Robert Van Pelt (2nd attached photo) reminded us of the sacrifices that others have made for our freedoms. We will always remember them.
