You are cordially invited to the Warren County Historical Society's 2025 History Day to be held in partnership with SUNY Adirondack on Monday October 13th, 8:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Northwest Bay Conference Center, SUNY Adirondack. The theme is "Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution."
Featuring presentations by regional experts, including:
Evan Sullivan, Ph.D., SUNY Adirondack, assistant professor of European History. Sullivan is a historian whose research examines the
intersections of disability, war and gender in the modern era.
Wendy Johnston, SUNY Adirondack, associate professor of Political Science; Chair of Social Science Division. Johnston is a self-proclaimed
political nerd, with a research and teaching focus on generational politics, women in politics, civic engagement and discourse.
John Strough, longtime Queensbury supervisor Strough has lived and worked in Queensbury his entire life. He is
retired from a long career as a history teacher in Queensbury schools.
Todd DeGarmo, founding director, Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library DeGarmo is founding director of the Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library in Glens Falls, New York, an award-winning program known for its research collections, gallery exhibitions and innovative public programming that showcase the cultural traditions of the lower Adirondacks and upper Hudson Valley.
