Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation?s Annual Meeting of Membership & Preservation Recognition Awards

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation will host its Annual Meeting of Membership & Board of Directors, which includes board of director & officer elections, and Preservation Recognition Award Ceremony. The Preservation Recognition Awards recognize those who have preserved the architectural heritage of Saratoga Springs.

 

The public is invited to the Anthony “Skip” Scirocco Music Hall at City Hall, 474 Broadway, to attend a reception at 5:00PM, followed by the Annual Meeting and Preservation Recognition Awards which will start promptly at 5:30PM. “The Annual Meeting gives our community the opportunity to pause, look back, and celebrate both the achievements of the Foundation and the wonderful improvements to our city’s historic buildings by their owners. I look forward to seeing many of you there!” said President Michele Funiciello.

 

The Foundation sought nominations for projects that reflect a dedication to preserving, developing, and reusing historic buildings and landscapes. Those nominated were individuals, organizations, businesses, and community representatives. Nominations were assessed by the Awards Committee according to the following criteria: project design sensitivity to the historic character and environment of the property; project execution represents appropriate techniques and preservation practice; degree of difficulty faced and appropriateness of solutions were applied.

 

Award recipients will be honored and are invited to accept awards at this ceremony with the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation staff and Board.
