North Country Veterans, past and present, will be celebrated and offered free admission to a November 9th concert at Tannery Pond Center with Adirondack
balladeer and Army Veteran Dan Berggren.
Berggren, a lifelong Adirondacker and accomplished songwriter and guitarist, will be joined
by renowned dance fiddler Cedar Stanistreet, a Crane School of Music graduate that grew
up in the Johnsburg area. The concert will feature many of Berggrens heartfelt and locally
inspired songs.
In appreciation of all Veterans, their entry fee will be waived, although reservations should
be made in advance to assure sufficient seating for all. The number for tickets is:
518-251-2505.
The concert will run from 3-5 pm on Sunday, Nov. 9, two days before the Veteran's Day
holiday. Guests 18 and under will also be offered free tickets, with reservations. The price
to regular customers is $20 in advance and $25 at the door, although reservations are
highly recommended.
