Join a Naturalist for a walk to Bradleys Lookout at The Pinnacle Preserve to the overlook above Lake George. Along the way well search for animal tracks in the snow and other winter phenomena. Youll learn about the unique adaptations of Adirondack flora and fauna for winter survival and marvel at the amazing views over the frozen lake.
- This hike will follow the Blue Trail (out and back) for a total of 1.5 miles.
- This hike is rated moderate and most suitable for hikers ages 7 and up.
Please come prepared with snowshoes, or let us know in advance if you need to borrow a pair. Prepare for your winter walk with sturdy boots, warm layers, and any snacks or water you may need.
Discovery Series: Explore a Heron Rookery
