About Girlfriend's Getaway

Girlfriend's Getaway is an annual women's wellness weekend held at The Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing on Lake George. Organized by the Bolton Landing Chamber of Commerce, this empowering three-day event brings together women for workshops, fitness classes, motivational speakers, a fashion show, live entertainment, a three-course lunch, and an optional cruise aboard The Morgan on Lake George. Whether you're coming with a group of friends or arriving solo, Girlfriend's Getaway is designed to help you recharge, connect, and leave feeling genuinely renewed.

What to Expect This Weekend

The 2026 event runs from Friday, May 8 through Sunday, May 10 at The Sagamore Resort, 110 Sagamore Road, Bolton Landing, NY 12814. Programming spans the Conference Center, The Bayview venue, and the Dollar Island Room across the three days.

Friday Evening: Arrive, Unwind, Connect

Registration opens at 4:00 PM. The evening begins with Whispers of the Soul — an intimate psychic gallery experience — followed by the Welcome Party at 7:00 PM at The Bayview, featuring live music, a photobooth, hors d'oeuvres, and a cash bar.

Saturday: Wellness, Learning & Fun

The heart of the weekend. Choose from three simultaneous sessions throughout the day — past offerings have included fitness classes, meditation, breath work, herbology, crystal healing, hormone balancing, iridology, nutrition, Shamanic drum meditation, and the SHIFT Process. This year, keynote speaker Ava Orah will lead a featured presentation (speakers are subject to change; check the official event website for the confirmed 2026 lineup). A three-course lunch is included from 12:00–1:45 PM, followed by a fashion show, vendor tables, and a special preview evening at the Bolton Historical Museum from 4:30–6:30 PM.

Sunday: A Gentle Close

Sunday morning features yoga, CIBC mobility, chakra sound and light meditation, and live cello in the Dollar Island Room. Attendees can then choose an optional guided nature hike to Bradley's Lookout or a scenic 1.5-hour cruise on The Morgan — complimentary for Sagamore guests, $25 for non-guests (subject to change; confirm on the official event website).

Tickets & Pricing

Tickets are $189 per person and cover admission to all scheduled activities (additional fees apply for certain optional add-ons such as the Morgan cruise for non-Sagamore guests). Lodging is not included. Purchase tickets by calling the Bolton Landing Chamber of Commerce or through the event's official website. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is postponed or cancelled, but can be transferred — notify the Chamber with the new attendee's name.

Where It All Happens: The Sagamore Resort

The Sagamore Resort is a landmark AAA Four Diamond resort on a private 70-acre island in Bolton Landing on Lake George, with roots dating back to 1883. Event programming takes place in the resort's Conference Center, Bayview, and Dollar Island Room. Many Girlfriend's Getaway attendees extend their trip and explore the wider Lake George Area — Bolton Landing is about 10 miles north of Lake George Village along Route 9N.
