Triangle Lantern Making with Carol Marie Vossler

Carol Marie Vossler, an artist and papermaker, will lead you through making a triangle lantern out of handmade paper and stencils.

You’ll be cutting and folding as part of the process. Using stencils, you can cut shapes with either an Xacto knife or a pin tool, each offering unique effects, before assembling your lantern. The session also offers a brief look at the historical and contemporary importance of lanterns.

All materials (except light) and tools will be provided.

  • ?Participants are welcome to bring drinks and snacks for the day.
  • ?Museum admission is not included but can be added to the workshop fee at a reduced rate.
  • ?Comfortable shoes are recommended.

Workshop is for participants 12 years old and older. Participants 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Save by registering for two!

Carol will also be demonstrating and selling her works at ADKX July 10-12.
