Join High Peaks Hospice for Walk for Hospice 2026, a community event honoring lives and supporting compassionate end-of-life care across our region. This year marks the 40th Anniversary of High Peaks Hospice, and we invite you to be part of this meaningful milestone.

Together, families, caregivers, volunteers, and community members will gather for our Mile in Memory — Honoring Lives. Supporting Hospice. This shared experience is a time to remember loved ones, celebrate lives well lived, and support the care that brings comfort when it is needed most.

Every step taken and every dollar raised helps ensure patients receive expert medical care, emotional and spiritual support, and no-cost bereavement services for families throughout our community.

Individual and team registrations available—walk as one or gather a team in honor of someone you love.

Event Locations & Dates

June 13, 2026 – SUNY Adirondack, Queensbury, NY - 11:00am
June 14, 2026 – Riverside Park, Saranac Lake, NY - 1:00pm

Check-in begins one hour prior to each walk start time. On-site registrations welcome.

Following the 1 mile walk, participants are invited to stay for remembrance activities, refreshments, raffles, and connect with each other - including High Peaks Hospice staff and volunteers.

Fundraising for Impact

Walk for Hospice is a peer-to-peer fundraising event that directly supports High Peaks Hospice programs. Participants are provided the opportunity to personalize their fundraising pages and invite friends and family to support their efforts. Funds raised ensure patients can receive compassionate care wherever they call home, while also sustaining grief support services available to anyone in the community.

Together, we can expand access to comfort, dignity, and support for those facing serious illness and loss.
