377 Schroon River Road : 377 Schroon River Road, Warrensburg, NY

NA

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Warren County is pleased to announce the following programs: On Friday, May 29th, at 3:30 pm, we will host a “Starting Shiitake Mushrooms” workshop.  This program is perfect for the very beginner as well as the enthusiast who might want to learn other techniques of raising shiitake mushrooms.  There will be a limited number of bolts available for participants to take home.  Bolts are $20 a piece and must be paid for at the time of registration.  Pre-registration is required.

On Saturday, May 30th at 10:00 am, we will be hosting an instructional program on building “Air-Prune Raised Beds”.  Air-prune raised beds are an innovative method of growing seedlings that are more easily transplanted.  This is instructional only, and we will only be building 2 air-prune raised beds.  There is a small cover fee of $5.00 for this program, and pre-registration is required.

Both programs will be facilitated by Connor Youngerman from Cornell University and will be hosted at Cornell Cooperative Extension, 377 Schroon River Road, Warrensburg, NY. To register, call 518-623-3291. For questions regarding these programs, contact Dan Carusone.
