348 Glen St. : 348 Glen St., Glens Falls, NY 12801
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Our summer exhibition explores Benjamin Franklin and a lesser-known chapter of the Revolution: his 1776 journey to Montreal to rally support for the American cause. Along the way, Franklin passed through the upper Hudson Valley, including an overnight stay in present-day Glens Falls. By tracing this journey, the exhibition connects our region to a pivotal national moment and reflects on how the ideals of 1776 still shape the nation today.
Celebrate with free admission to the Museum, plus light refreshments, family crafts, colonial lawn games (weather permitting), and a special Storytime at 11:30 a.m. featuring Benjamin Franklin Was Here, 1776, the Chapman Museums newest book starring Zopher the Mouse.
Benjamin Franklin himself will also be on hand for a meet-and-greet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
