Barn Quilt Painting Workshop

50/person, or $45 for Chapman Members.

A minimum of 10 participants is required for this workshop to run, and no more than 20 participants.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will create a wooden barn quilt featuring a traditional tulip-inspired geometric design, a classic motif found in quilt patterns and folk art.

Participants will paint their piece step by step and choose their own color combinations to make the design uniquely theirs. Focus will be on working with geometric forms, brush control, and color placement. The finished piece will be a 14” barn quilt suitable for indoor display or a protected outdoor space

This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop, and no prior painting experience is required. It is recommended for ages 12+ and participants are asked to wear clothes suitable for painting.

The cost is $50 per participant or $45 for Chapman Members. Payment is required at the time of registration.

All materials will be provided.
