Lake George Association Annual Meeting | Saturday, August 8
The Lake George Association (LGA) invites the community to its free Annual Meeting on Saturday, August 8, from 8:00–11:00 a.m. at the Fort William Henry Carriage House in Lake George.
This year's meeting marks the public launch of the LGA's new Five-Year Strategic Plan and will explore the future of Lake George water quality through presentations from leading experts in freshwater science, environmental policy, and conservation.
Featured keynote speakers include New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Commissioner Amanda Lefton and internationally recognized water scientist Dr. Peter Gleick, co-founder of the Pacific Institute.
Attendees will learn about the most pressing challenges facing Lake George, innovative solutions already underway, and how clean water supports our environment, economy, tourism industry, and communities.
The event is free and open to the public. Business leaders, elected officials, residents, environmental professionals, and anyone who cares about the future of Lake George are encouraged to attend.
