Adirondack Water Week
Celebrate the lakes, rivers, wetlands, and waterways that make the Adirondacks unique during Adirondack Water Week at The Wild Center.
Now in its seventh year, Adirondack Water Week offers nine days of interactive programming designed to connect visitors of all ages with the region's most valuable natural resource through science, recreation, and hands-on learning.
Visitors can enjoy a full schedule of daily programming, including:
Creature Features
Otter Programs
Guided Paddle Programs (additional fee)
Free Mini Paddle Trips on select dates
Tours of the aquatic tanks
Pond Life guided walks and microscopy
Water-themed trivia
Educational exhibits hosted by the Adirondack Watershed Institute ?cite?turn0search0?
Throughout the week, guests can also experience special events, including:
Watershed model demonstrations
Troll Tuesday programming focused on animal habitats
"When Waters Rise: Adirondack Flooding Risk, Response, and Resilience" conference
