Halloween season returns to Great Escape with Fright Fest and Boo Fest, featuring new live entertainment, haunted houses, scare zones, family-friendly Halloween activities and the parks signature rides.
Fright Fest and Boo Fest take place Saturdays and Sundays from September 26 through October 25, plus Monday, October 12.
During the day, Boo Fest offers kid-friendly Halloween fun from noon to 5 PM. When the clock strikes 5 PM, Fright Fest takes over as monsters descend on the midways and the scares begin.
Three new live shows debut for 2026:
PigFace A mainstage horror show featuring sinister dolls, audience participation and an early 90s hip-hop soundtrack. Not recommended for children ages 12 and under.
Grunge Monsters Singing and dancing monsters perform early 90s grunge hits near Carousel Plaza.
Weird Tales Story Hour Haunting narration and eerie songs bring chilling stories to life.
Guests can also brave four returning haunted houses Nightmare, Skull Manor, CarnEVIL and Hell Block VI along with the Dead in the West, Dark Oaks Graveyard and Sirens scare zones.
Boo Fest activities, Fright Fest entertainment, scare zones and rides are included with theme park admission. Haunted houses require an additional purchase.
Families looking for less fright and more Halloween fun can visit Boo Fest from noon to 5 PM.

Costume contests for children ages 12 and under
Monster Mash with Count Dracula and friends
Trick-or-treating at the Storytown houses in Buckaroo Junction
A kid-friendly hay maze in the Fest Area
The Halloween fun continues at Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark Fridays through Sundays, September 25 through October 31, plus October 12.
Overnight guests can enjoy Timbertown Monster Mayhem, Halloween crafts, a family dance party, spooky stories by the fireplace and year-round indoor waterpark fun.
