GRIM the Musical is a spooky comedy-drama about death and the afterlife, set to music by Bach, Beethoven, Brahms and more.
Presented as a concert reading at The Hyde Collection in conjunction with Tanya Marcuse’s exhibition Book of Miracles, this full-cast, music-stand performance brings the script and score to life without staging.
In the afterlife, teen Owen meets The Ghouls—mischievous adolescent zombies in a centuries-old children-only cemetery—while Lillian’s fears and Grim, a curmudgeonly gravedigger who connects the living and dead, lead audiences through an offbeat story of family, fear, and the beyond.
Performances take place Saturday and Sunday, October 10–11 at 2 p.m.
