Whether you are a meeting planner, reunion organizer or retreat planner, the Lake George Area offers a wide variety of unique venues, attractions and amenities, from historical and waterfront spaces, to spacious ballrooms and conference centers. The Lake George Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau will work with you to ensure that you have the gathering space and lodging to best suits the needs of your guests! As a free service, the team will send out leads to those partners we work with to best accommodate events up to 1,000!
Ease of Access
Getting to the Lake George Area is easy and getting around is even easier! Centrally located in the northeast and under an hour from Albany International Airport, the Lake George Area is accessible and easy to navigate! With less traffic and spacious downtown areas, you will navigate the region with little fuss! Whether it’s a brief walk to one of our 100+ local restaurants or a hop on the trolley to nearby attractions; shorter transportation windows provide more time for meetings and memories.

Booking Incentives
The team at the LGRCVB wants to provide meeting planners with some incentives for booking in the Lake George Area! Here are a couple we are offering in 2022!
LGRCVB Booking Incentive Program
- Check goes to host organization per contract with Tax ID.
- New business only: 5 years from date of event.
- If multiple year contracts are signed simultaneously, the group is eligible for each year contracted.
- A two-year rooms and F&B history is required.

Promotion does not apply to tax exempt master bills or room nights.
LGRCVB reserves the right to end the incentive program at any time.
Meet Safely and Save Program
As the nation and the meetings industry continues to evolve into a hybrid model, the Lake George Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau is offering the Meet Safely and Save program to help generate new, hydric meetings business, and provide support to both the meeting planner and the hotel properties alike by offering to offset some of the audio-visual costs that may be incurred.
We understand that it is still important for people to meet safely and stay connected. By staying at one of the many properties that have taken the Lake George Region Health and Safety Pledge, planners can rest assured that their meeting will be a safe and expertly-executed experience. We know nothing can take the place of a face to face meeting and in the Lake George Area, we have been partnering with our local properties to ensure that all future meetings are safe and technologically possible.
According to the program details, if an event planner books an in-person and/or hybrid meeting with a minimum of 50 room nights in 2022, the Lake George Regional CVB will offer up to $500 towards their AV cost.
