Adventure Sports and the Adirondacks go hand in hand! Lake George is located in the southeast corner of the Adirondack Mountains, in the northeastern area of the United States in the state of New York. This beautiful, 32.2-mile long and narrow lake is nicknamed the Queen of American Lakes, and rightly so. It is situated on the historical path between the valleys of the Hudson and St. Lawrence Rivers.
As a natural playground for outdoor enthusiasts, the Lake George Area has served a number of organized Sports Events, Adventure Sports, Races and More!

The park features 11.2km of single track trails and 9.7km of double track trails traversing 152-acres. The trails vary in difficulty, ranging from easy trails like “HP” to difficult trails like “Rock Buster.” Ride technical rocky trails with hard lines and easier alternative lines, to wider bench cut trails featuring berms, rollers and endless amounts of flow. The trails have been built and maintained by Wilderness Property Management Inc. and are constantly being maintained and added onto yearly.
An on-site bike repair stand includes hand tools and an air station.

West Mountain is one of the area’s featured ski and trail mountains- with something to do every season! Whether it is skiing, riding and tubing in the winter or hiking, mountain biking and Aerial Treetop Adventure tours in the summer – West Mountain has something for everyone.

The trails of Cole’s Woods are historic as the first lighted cross-country ski trails in North America opening in December of 1971. The trails continue to play host to several cross-country ski races each year, along with running races and other community events ~ as well as being a favorite recreational area among local community members.
There is the lighted 5km Race Loop; the Sri Chinmoy Peace Mile lighted ski trail; lighted and non-lighted ski trails and non-lighted snowshoe trails. In the winter season trails are groomed.

Gore is located in the heart of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of New York. Offering over 2500′ vertical feet,. Gore Mountain has the 6th greatest vertical drop in the east, boasting the most skiable terrain in New York State – 439 acres. Gore has 14 lifts: an eight-passenger Northwoods Gondola and 2 High-Speed Quads, 4 Quads, 3 Triples, and 4 Surface Lifts. There is 97% snowmaking coverage which means each run – each turn and each day is great with 110 Alpine Trails including 28 Glades and 7 Freestyle areas and 12 Cross-Country/Snowshoe loops.
The updated Trail Map has been redesigned to highlight the varied and multi-mountain Gore experience.
