LAKE GEORGE, NY — The Lake George Triathlon Festival returns to the bikeways, sidewalks and shores of Lake George and Queensbury on September 4 – 5 under new ownership, Alpha Win. Kicking off the series of events, Alpha Win will host their 1st Annual “Tri-Camp”, open to all ages and skill levels, on August 20 – 22.
The Lake George Triathlon Festival is a fun and competitive weekend on the shores of Lake George. Athletes can compete in the Alpha Sprint, the Alpha Olympic, and the Alpha 70.3.
The races begin on Saturday morning at 7 a.m. sharp with the Alpha 70.3 at Lake George Dog Beach. The Alpha 70.3 is a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run.
The races continue Sunday morning, with the Alpha Sprint kicking off at 7 am. This is a 750 meter swim, 12.4 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run. The final race, the Alpha Olympic, will start at 7:40 am! This is a 1,500 meter swim, 24.8 mile bike, and a 6.2 mile run.

About the Tri-Camp: Held in Lake George Village and Bolton Landing, the camp will present the opportunity to receive expert training tips, learn the courses for the upcoming race, and will provide a video gate analysis to perfect your form.
Dr. Mike Halstead was brought on board to help coach the camp and provide personalized expertise in the sport of triathlon. Coaching alongside Dr. Halstead will be Alpha Win race director, Tommy Struzzieri, previously a USAT age group All-American in triathlon and a Division I cross country and track athlete at Syracuse University.
About the Triathlon: Another weekend of full force action comes Labor Day weekend for the Lake George Triathlon held on September 4-5. The Lake George Triathlon festival is a fun and competitive weekend on the shores of Lake George, with a family friendly atmosphere. Registration can be completed online at alpha.win, and will close on September 1.
