Brian Mulligan’s connection to the Lake George Area runs deep. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, he spent every summer vacationing in Lake George, experiencing firsthand the region’s attractions, lodging, and events. His love for the area led him to take a summer job during college, where he managed a marina on the lake, guided jet ski rentals, provided boating safety instructions, and led boat tours—immersing himself in the tourism industry from an early age.
His passion for recreation and hospitality inspired Brian to attend SUNY Plattsburgh, where he earned a BS in Business Administration. After college, he gained valuable experience in retail leadership, working at Woodbury Commons, one of New York State’s top tourism destinations. There, he worked with international clientele and held several key holder positions at both Woodbury Commons and the Westchester Mall in White Plains. Most recently, Brian served as Store Manager at the Lake George Outlets, where he was named Top Sales Manager for the Upstate District in 2023—a testament to his ability to develop teams and drive success.
Beyond his professional background, Brian is deeply connected to the sports community. He was captain of his high school varsity and travel hockey teams, winning the New York State Championship (18U) in Buffalo. His passion for the game continues today as he cheers on the Adirondack Thunder and supports local teams.
Brian’s lifelong experience as a tourist, local, and industry professional gives him a unique perspective in his new role as Event Sales & Services Specialist. Now, as a first-time homeowner in the Lake George Area, he is excited to welcome groups, events, and visitors to the destination that has meant so much to him over the years.
We’re thrilled to have Brian on board and look forward to seeing his passion and expertise enhance the Lake George Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau!
