With its pristine 32-mile lake, over 200 miles of natural trails, a beautiful beach and majestic mountains, the Lake George Area is a natural playground for numerous sports from trail running and triathlons, beach volleyball and soccer, to orienteering and skiing.
Outdoor Facilities “At a Glance”
While nature has provided the area with incredible natural venues, the region possesses numerous man-made outdoor venues, including baseball and softball fields, as well as large outdoor fields, turf and grass for sports such as soccer, lacrosse, Quidditch and ultimate frisbee. Looking for some competitive golf? The region boasts golf courses, including a championship par 70 Donald Ross-designed course and a course carved onto the side of French Mountain, with spectacular views of the south end of Lake George.
Golden Goal Sports Park
Golden Goal Sports Park is a well-known sports facility that hosts various soccer events and tournaments. It is a premier soccer complex with multiple fields designed to accommodate different age groups and skill levels.
The sports park is often used for soccer camps, youth development programs, and competitive tournaments. It has hosted regional, national, and international soccer events, attracting teams from across the United States and even other countries.
West Mountain

Adirondack MX
Adk MX is a professionally built motocross facility suitable for all riding levels. The track is truly built on a golf course, which consists of a red dirt and clay mix laying on 23 acres of parking and a track that lays out over 19 acres. Onsite is a full restaurant (Country Meadows) open the same times as the track is. This restaurant has a full menu and then also a quick menu so you can get back out to the action. The track is open from April to October.
East Field

As the hosts of the NYS Women’s Bowling Championships, the WPBA Bowling Championship, IREVA Juniors Regional Volleyball Championships and the NYS Public High School Athletic Associations Basketball, Volleyball, Wrestling and ice hockey championships, the area is a proven destination for all levels of indoor competition.
