The Lake George Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau (LGRCVB) expands its sales team with its newest hire, Stephen Magee, Group Sales Manager. The LGRCVB is a division of the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce and extension of Warren County Tourism that serves all Warren County hospitality partners and focuses its sales and marketing efforts to bring year-round, weather-proof group business to the area in the form of meetings and conventions, sports events, weddings, and group tours.
Magee’s position involves establishing relationships with regional and national sports event planners and bus tour operators to ensure that Lake George Area destination assets are top of mind with decision makers. His knowledge of the area and local contacts are keys to securing future bookings that will meet or exceed rate and occupancy goals of the destination partners throughout Warren County.
Magee's passion for the local region is rooted in being a devoted outdoor enthusiast with more than 30 years of experience in the outdoor recreation industry, having worked with renowned establishments such as Boats by George, Smith Boys Sea Ray, and West Mountain Ski Area. With an extensive background as a customer service professional and sales manager, Magee brings an abundance of knowledge and experience to the team.
The local resident looks forward to working with the LGRCVB team to ultimately make the Lake George area an even more desirable year-round destination. "Living in Warren County is like a year round vacation that I am excited to share with potential visitors who are looking for the perfect place to experience the seasons, the outdoors, and all that the region has to offer.”
