Fort William Henry Museum
History comes alive at Fort William Henry! Join us to experience the history, the sights and sounds of the fort during the French and Indian War. Located at the strategic south end of Lake George, an important part of the water transportation system used by both Native Americans and the Europeans. The fort has been featured on NatGeoTV’s “DeCrypters” and SyFy’s “Ghost Hunters.”

The Sembrich

Natural Stone Bridges & Caves
Come see the largest marble cave entrance in the east. Explore Noisy Cave, check out the resident bats in Peter Pan's Peephole, dip under Arch Rock, and cross over the natural stone bridge itself! Take the self-guided, 20-stop trail as it winds from cave to cave, with potholes and deep natural pools in between.
Get a Lift!
Explore one of the groomed mountains that are packed with skiers all winter long. Find a trail or ride the gondola on West Mountain or Gore Mountain. Take in all the views or experience the ropes course, bikes trails, and more! There is also a summer Trolley that runs daily from Glens Falls to Bolton Landing.
Warren County Recreation Mapper
The Warren County Recreation Mapper is an interactive, in-depth map of dozens of recreation locations in the Lake George Area. This website, sponsored by the First Wilderness Heritage Corridor, highlights a wide array of hiking trails, biking trails, parks, paddling opportunities, and winter recreation areas.
Revolution Rail
These one-of-a-kind excursions take you into some of the most remote locations in the Adirondack Mountains on a pedal-powered railbike. On these guided tours, you will travel along once train-trafficked railroad tracks through beautiful Adirondack forests, along the banks of the Hudson River, and over a spectacular trestle bridge. Prospect Mountain Veterans Memorial Highway

Up Yonda Farm Environmental Education Center
72 acres of Adirondack fun in Bolton Landing! Up Yonda Farm is an educational museum that specializes in teaching kids about the Adirondacks. The museum features wildlife exhibits of native mammals and birds such as bears, bobcats, fishers, and porcupines. Hands on children's exhibits feature archaeology digs and touch tables.

Six Flags Great Escape
One of America’s favorite and most historic theme parks is nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks, a region brimming with history and natural beauty. Six Flags Great Escape & Hurricane Harbor originally opened its gates in Queensbury, NY on June 27, 1954, as Storytown USA. The Great Escape is Exhilarating! The Great Escape has flourished since its early days, expanding from a five-acre nursery rhyme-themed park to include more than 135 rides, shows, and attractions to fill your day with fun and memories.
Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course
Explore the beauty of the Great Adirondack Forest as you traverse through our treetop obstacle adventure course and zipline park and reach heights most will only dream of. Established in 2007, Adirondack Extreme was the first aerial adventure course to open in the United States. Others have tried to imitate, but none can duplicate the experience of trekking tree-to-tree on our aerial obstacles within the trees of the beautiful Adirondack Forest.
White Water Rafting
The Lake George Area is known for it's beautiful 32 mile-lake. But what about the flowing and fun rivers that run through the region? Take a guided tour for your group at Whitewater Challengers in North River, or explore the Sacandaga at the Sacandaga Outdoor Center.
Rocksport Indoor Climbing Facility and Outdoor Guiding Service
Rocksport is proud to be one of the oldest commercial climbing gyms in the United States. Their facility features huge indoor rock climbing walls and 50-foot ceilings. They have gentle challenges for the beginner; moderate terrain for the weekend warrior and fierce overhanging climbing for the expert. The training center improves your mobility, strength and conditioning with top-notch equipment.

Lake George Arts Project
Established in 1977 to offer comprehensive programs in the arts including the Lake George Jazz Festival, the Courthouse Gallery, weekly summer concerts, Black Velvet Art party, Bands and Beans and gold.
The Hyde Collection
The Hyde Collection offers a world-class group of works that span almost six thousand years of art history from antiquity to the present. The Museum’s founders, Louis and Charlotte Hyde, acquired the majority of objects during a fifty-year period of avid and highly informed collecting. Many of these works are displayed in Hyde House, the founders’ former home, as well as in the Museum’s modern exhibition galleries.

Their year-round classes range from half-day sessions to multi-week courses; offering subjects as diverse as Adirondack chair building, twig and rustic furniture, caning, and birch bark basketry.

Hit the Course
In the Lake George Area, there are nine picturesque courses to take a swing at. Show up unannounced for a casual afternoon round or schedule a full blown golf-cation at the courses of your choosing. It’s almost tee-time. Or you can get your putt on at one of the many mini-golf courses throughout the area.
Mini-Golf
The birthplace of the "Original Vacation" is known for it's fun-packed mini-golf courses sprinkled all over the region. Take your best shot at Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf or get silly at Goony Golf. Take a trip Around the World or collect loot at Gold Rush Adventure Golf.

Golfing in the Lake George Area is the perfect mix of diverse golf in a breathtaking environment. Professionally manicured courses set in the serenity of the Adirondack Mountains create an unrivaled golfing experience. If you want to play courses that are demanding and award-winning, book a tee-time at the Sagamore Golf Club or Hiland Park Country Club. If your only goal is to relax and take a few hacks play a round at Cronin’s. Work on your short game at the Lake George Area’s 9-hole courses, Green Mansions and Sunnyside Par 3. If you’re all about those Adirondack views, Top of the World is the course for you. Sometimes golf can be frustrating so make sure you grab a cold one in the clubhouse after your round. Better yet, book a room at a golf resort and wake up within sight of the fairways. Need to brush up on your fundamentals? Make an appointment with a golf pro to work out the kinks.

Adirondack Winery
When Adirondack Winery opened its doors in April 2008 it quickly became an establishment that resonated with locals and tourists, alike. People came to enjoy locally-handcrafted and award-winning wines while taking in the beauty of Lake George and the Adirondacks. Visit the Tasting Room and enjoy a wine tasting session which includes your souvenir wine glass.
Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail
The Adirondack Beverage Trail is a self-guided tour of 27 beer, wine, cider, soda, and distilled spirits makers throughout Warren, Essex, Washington and Northern Saratoga Counties. Each of these enterprises produce fine New York State products with dedication and pride. When you visit – you are supporting “buy local”.
Nettle Meadows
Happy goats. Great cheese! A second location is now open in Lake Luzerne (The Old Hitching Post) for production of cheeses, storage, gift shop, and more! Nettle Meadow Farm is a 50-acre goat and sheep farm and and award-winning cheese company. Home to over 300 goats, several dozen sheep. Nettle Meadow is committed to the principals of natural ingredients, happy and healthy animals, and carefully hand-crafted artisan cheeses.
Oscar's Smokehouse
An Adirondack staple for over 70 years! Oscar's is a household name, not only in the Adirondacks but nationally as well. We've been making smoked meats and delicious cheeses for decades. The original, wood-fired brick smokehouse was built in 1946, by hand, by founder Oscar himself.
Martha's Dandee Creme
Martha's Dandee Creme is famous for their ice cream and a Lake George area landmark attracting big smiles for over 70 years! Martha's has the vibe of an old-fashioned ice cream parlor with an ever-changing list of soft-serve flavors, with 12 flavors offered daily.
Barkeater Chocolates
