A CVB is a Convention and Visitors Bureau. These organizations are usually nonprofit and provide education and resources to local communities and travelers with the aim of promoting travel to a location for events and conventions in the area, and other hospitality business. The Lake George Regional CVB is funded by the Warren County hotel and occupancy taxes . Services and resources are typically FREE for event planners, hospitality venues, corporations, and group travelers.
The LGRCVB is a division of the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB and works as an extension of the Warren County Tourism Department. While the Tourism Department markets Warren County to the leisure consumer tourism market, the mission of the LGRCVB is to bring year-round, weatherproof group business to Warren County in the form of meetings, conventions, reunions, sports events, weddings, and more.

The team at the Lake George Regional CVB are local experts in the Lake George Area. They also offer a non-biased approach to all of the offerings of the region covered, since it's a service to all partners and members. Where's the best restaurant to take my group? What hotels and venues are available? When is the best time to visit for certain rates? The LGRCVB will provide answers that are up to date meet the needs of your meeting or event.
The LGRCVB also plays a huge role in community develop, offering a free Tourism Training Awanress Program to train hospitality partners in offering top-notch service customized to the region.

Need a recommendation or referrals for a service when visiting the area? The LGRCVB is the contact for all of your questions! Whether is it looking for group activities on or off-site or A/V, transportation, and wedding services - the team has the inside scoop on those ideas you need in a pinch! The LGRCVB also will build out itineraries, deliver onsite assistance for groups coming in, and can provide brochures, tickets, and promotional items to all of those attending.
The team services a number of events and knows how to curate based on the group format. From wedding services to team dining options, the LGRCVB can make recommendations. The team also supports city-wide events and festivals. The year-round events offer amazing offerings for groups, and the team is the first to know what's on the local calendar!

While CVBs are the destination experts, the Partners are the property experts. To help save time, we have compiled Meeting/Sports and Wedding Guides for you to get a snapshot of facilities and properties that you may be interested in. In addition, we will connect you directly to our personal contacts at various hotels, venues and attractions to collect and compile responses to any questions you may have. We’ve also created long-standing, trustworthy relationships with local vendors, and we’ll always make suggestions that best serve your goals.
The LGRCVB hosts monthly meeting with partners to check in and discuss what is happening among propoerties, the industry, and local updates.

In addition, the LGRCVB has its own offerings when working through their services. Currently, the LGRCVB offers two PROMOTIONAL PROGRAMS for those who book in the Lake George Area.

The Lake George Regional CVB offers tools and destination marketing materials to help you promote your meeting, such as access to our Media Hub, destination brochures, Welcome Signage, free radio ads, social media access, and more. At the LGRCVB, we’ll even create a microsite or customized marketing materials to help you share your event ahead of time. We also have a list of media contacts that we can connect you with and can develop and distribute press releases at your disposal!
