Discover Warrensburg (formerly Museum of Local History) from prehistoric times to present. Learn about logging vast northern forests, and hardscrabble farming with a short season and bitter winters. The tough survived, harnessing the Schroon River with dams that powered sawmills, grain mills, eventually textile mills that flourished halfway through the 20th century. We are kid-friendly! Open year-round: Sundays, 1-3 pm and Wednesdays, noon to 4 pm, plus Saturdays 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., July through September.
